McDreams offers you two digital check-in options: online or via our self-check-in terminals.

Instead of keys, we have a modern swipe system in place, meaning you can use your smartphone as a digital key to open your room. This has the following advantages:

  • complete flexibility
  • contactless check-in
  • no costs in case of loss
  • no check-out procedure
  • no fumbling for keys

How do I book a room with kids?

Families travelling with children can choose among the following dream options:

  • Children (0-6) stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding with their parents.
  • For babies (0-2), you can add a baby cot at 10 euros per stay via the Guest Login.
  • If you travel with kids older than 6 years, we recommend our 3- and 4-bed rooms.
How do I make a group booking / group enquiry?

Do you want to book more than 8 rooms? Our group department will be happy to prepare an offer for you. Please write an email to gruppen@mcdreamshotels.de

How do I cancel or change my booking?

If you have booked your stay directly with us, you can use the cancellation button in the Guest Login in accordance with our cancellation terms.

Depending on the booking platform, you can either change / cancel bookings yourself in the corresponding portal or call your booking agent.

Can I add breakfast to the booking?

At McDreams, everything is geared around giving you the perfect night’s sleep. That’s why we’ve decided to leave the baking to the bakers. In turn, our guests enjoy the best rates available.

To get your day off to a dream start, we recommend visiting one of the bakeries located near the hotel.

At our hotels in Düsseldorf, Essen, Leipzig, Munich-Nord, Ingolstadt and Stuttgart, you have the option to book and pay for breakfast via the Guest Login.

Do you allow pets in the hotel?

Dogs are welcome at McDreams ❤️!

  • We charge 10 euros per dog per night
  • 2 dogs per room are permitted
  • Bookable during check-in via Guest Login under ‘Extras’

Other pets are best left at home and cannot be accommodated.

How is the invoice sent?

You can change the billing address via the Guest Login until 11 am on the day of departure.

Your invoice will be available for you to download from 11 am on the day of departure for a period of 7 days.

Can I check in at the front desk?

McDreams is a digital hotel an does not have a physical front desk.

How can I check in to your hotel?
  • Online check-in
  • Self-check-in terminal at the hotel

 

Online check-in information:
In order to obtain your room access details, please complete the online check-in process, then activate your digital room key on the day of arrival.

Self-check-in terminal information:
Please have your smartphone ready. Once you have completed the self-check-in at the terminal, you can retrieve your room access details via your mobile web browser. There will be no printout at the terminal. Please also make sure you have access to your communication channel of choice (email, WhatsApp, SMS).

How can I pay?

Payment is due at check-in. If you cancel within the cancellation period, your payment will be automatically refunded.

  • Self-check-in terminal: EC / debit / credit card
  • Online: credit card, PayPal, Instant bank transfer
  • Payment link: credit card, PayPal, Instant bank transfer

We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Mastercard and Visacard.

Does the hotel provide parking?

Can I pre-book a parking space?

There is usually enough parking space available. It is not possible to pre-book a parking space.

Is there Wi-Fi available in the hotel?

All of our hotels offer a free Wi-Fi service. You will find further information in the Guest Login.

What is the check-in time?

Your dream room will be ready for you from 3 pm.

For early check-in, use the online check-in and activate your digital room key in the Guest Login on the day of arrival. As soon as your room has been cleaned, you will receive a message from us.

What is the check-out time?

Good news for late risers: Check-out time at McDreams is 11 am.

Can I arrange late check-out?

Late check-out is not available at McDreams. You do have the option to extend your stay.

Did you book directly through us? Extend your stay with just a few clicks in the Guest Login.

Did you book via a third party? Contact us and we will check availability.

I left something in my room. What do I do?

When hotel rooms are cleaned after your stay, housekeeping staff will find and safely store any left-behind items. Please contact us via chat on our website or email us if you have left something behind at the hotel.

Can I store my luggage at reception?

You would like to drop off your luggage prior to check-in or after check-out?

At our hotels in Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, München-Messe, Munich-Nord, Ingolstadt and Stuttgart, we’re happy to keep hold of your luggage for you:

How does room cleaning work?

Once you arrive, your room will only be cleaned upon your request as we try to reduce our environmental impact. Thank you for your support!

You are staying for multiple nights and would like your room cleaned? You can ask for additional cleaning via the Guest Login.

Do you provide water or a minibar in the rooms?

In Germany, you don’t need to buy water in expensive and environmentally damaging plastic bottles - it comes out of the tap for free! Tap water in Germany is strictly monitored and is perfectly safe.

Do you have designated smoking rooms?

We are a non-smoking hotel, however we do have a designated smoking areas outside the building. If you choose to smoke in the designated smoking areas, please be mindful of others around you. Stay healthy!
